Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and the privacy laws of certain other US states, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. This page explains our position and how to exercise that right.

1. Our position: we do not sell your personal information

Baaed FREE SEO Suite does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do not trade or rent personal information to data brokers.

The CPRA defines "sharing" more broadly than "selling" — it includes disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, even without monetary exchange. To the extent that loading Google AdSense or other advertising tags on our pages constitutes "sharing" under the CPRA, you may opt out below.

2. How to opt out

You have several ways to opt out of "sharing" of your personal information:

A. Global Privacy Control (recommended)

If you enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser or via a privacy-focused browser extension, we honour it as a valid opt-out from "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. You do not need to take any other action.

B. Cookie consent banner

Decline the "Advertising / Targeting" category in our cookie banner. This stops Google AdSense and similar advertising tags from loading. You can change your choice at any time from the banner.

C. Email request

Send an email to info@baaed.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" and the email address associated with your account.

3. Authorised agents

You may use an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will require written proof that you have authorised the agent to act for you, and we may contact you to verify your identity.

4. Right to limit use of sensitive personal information

Under the CPRA, you may also limit our use and disclosure of "sensitive personal information" (SPI) to the purposes necessary to provide the service. We do not use SPI for inferring characteristics about you or for advertising. There is therefore nothing to limit beyond the disclosures already described in our Privacy Policy, but you may submit a limit request using the contact methods above.

5. Other states

Residents of Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon, Montana, Florida, Iowa, Tennessee, Indiana, and other states with comparable privacy laws have similar opt-out rights. You can use any of the methods in Section 2 to exercise them. We will respond within the timeframes required by your state's law.

6. Non-discrimination

We will not deny you our service, charge you a different price, or provide you with a lower-quality service because you exercised your right to opt out.

7. Verification and response time

We will normally process opt-out requests within 15 business days for sale/sharing opt-outs. For requests that require us to verify your identity (e.g. limit requests tied to your account), we will respond within 45 days, with one 45-day extension if reasonably necessary.
