Frequently asked questions
What is the ideal meta title length? #
Google truncates titles at about 580 pixels — usually 50–60 characters. The generator shows a live warning when you go over.
What is the ideal meta description length? #
Aim for 140–160 characters. Longer than 160 gets cut with an ellipsis in SERPs; under 70 leaves free real estate.
Do meta keywords still matter? #
No. Google has ignored them since 2009. We generate the tag as an optional field only — leaving it blank is the modern best practice.
When should I use summary_large_image Twitter cards? #
Whenever you have a hero image at least 600×314 px. Large-image cards typically see 2× higher click-through than small summary cards.
Do I need JSON-LD structured data? #
Yes — three schemas to start: Organization on your homepage (Knowledge Panel), Article on every blog post (article carousel), and BreadcrumbList on categories (replaces URL with breadcrumb in SERPs).
What happens when I paste a URL? #
We fetch the page once, extract its current title / description / canonical / Open Graph / Twitter / hreflang, and pre-fill the form so you can audit and fix on the spot.
